Introduction
The Hong Kong Equipment Leasing Association (the Association) was established in 1983 and aims at:

(a) promoting leasing as a source of finance for asset-based financing and the acquisition of equipment in Hong Kong and throughout Asia and the common interests of lessors transacting business in Hong Kong;

(b) providing a forum for discussion and dissemination of information amongst the Members including arranging seminars and meetings on equipment leasing;

(c) liaising with government or other parties on matters affecting the leasing industry in Hong Kong and in Asia.
